Erma L. Losey

Mrs. Erma L. Losey, 73, of Sheffield, died at 2:25 p.m., Thursday, May 12, 2011 at Select Service Hospital, Erie following a one-month illness.
A lifelong area resident, Erma was born Nov. 11, 1937 in Kane to the late Francis and Delia McFarlin Carlson. She was also preceded in death by her husband Howard A. Losey whom she married Dec. 11, 1954.
Erma is survived by seven sons, Howard A. Losey, Jr., Clarendon, William F. Losey, Doghton, Ala., Donald E. Losey, Sheffield, Roger L. Losey, Titusville, Raymond B. Losey, Erie, Robert P. Losey, Clarendon, and John A. Losey, Pittsfield; seven daughters, Carol J. Anderson, Clarendon, Donna L. Morse, St. Marys, Alice M. Nicholson, Sheffield, Rhonda L. Smith, Johnsonburg, Laurrie B. Billman, Warren, Lisa A. McMillen, St. Marys, and Susan M. Losey, Marienville; 34 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Annie Boschert, St. Marys and Karen Stone, Ludlow; one brother, Ron Carlson, Warren; and several nieces and nephews.
A 4 p.m. funeral and committal service will be held at the Borden-Lloyd Funeral Home Sunday, May 15, 2011, with Rev. Dave Wimer, pastor, Bible Baptist Church officiating. Friends and family will be received from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, immediately preceding the funeral. Burial will be in Barnes Cemetery.
