Family of Kane's "citizen-of-the-year'

Members of the family of the late Jim Salvamoser are among those to attend the Kane Chamber of Commerce banquet Thursday at the Kane Country Club. The Chamber honored Salvamoser as its "citizen-of-the-year." The group includes, left to right, seated: Margie Salvamoser, wife of the honoree; Jackie Durnell of Kane, daughter of the honoree; Jeanne Cicero of Erie, daughter of the honoree; and Frank Salvamoser of Buffalo, brother of the honoree; standing: Dr. Maryann Anderson, superintendent of the Kane Area School District and a Chamber board member; Marilyn Blackmore of Wetmore Township, one of several who nominated Salvamoser for the honor; Hannah Cicero, granddaughter of the honoree; Jacob Durnell, grandson of the honoree; Steve Durnell of Kane, son-in-law of the honoree; Ashley Cicero, granddaughter of the honoree; and Sue Holt, a Chamber board member and Kane borough office employee. Holt represented Kane Mayor Doug Caldwell, who is out-of-town.
