Fines levied in Kane District Court

Fines have been levied in several non-traffic cases in Kane District Court.
Kane District Judge Dave Engman has handled the following cases:
*Jennifer Phillips of Bradford pleaded guilty to passing bad checks at the Quick Stop Market in Kane. She has been assessed $244.74 in fines, court costs and restitution ($80.75).
*A 15-year-old Ludlow male pleaded guilty to use of tobacco at Kane Area High School. He was assessed $154 in fines and court costs.
*A 15-year-old Kane male pleaded guilty to use of tobacco at Kane Area High School. He was assessed $145 in fines and court costs.
*Dustin James Moran, 22, of James City pleaded guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct (fighting) and was assessed $295 in fines and court costs.
He also pleaded guilty to a charge of possessing an open container of alcohol and was assessed $113.25 in fines and court costs.
A charge of harassment was withdrawn.
Kane Police Officer Steve Hale filed the charges.
*Daniel Paul Davidson, 32, of Ludlow pleaded guilty to public drunkenness, disorderly conduct and harassment. He was assessed a total of $617 in fines and court costs.
Kane Police Officer Hale placed the charges.
*Colton J. Johnson, 24, of Kane pleaded guilty to public drunkenness and disorderly conduct. He was assessed $293.50 in fines and court costs.
Kane Police Officer Hale filed the charges.
