Ted Lutz Major General Randall Marchi presents a folded American flag to Erin Sirianni, who has been the girlfriend of National Guard Staff Sgt. Kenneth VanGiesen since 1997. Sirianni and VanGiesen, both of Kane, lived together in Erie. Marchi is the commander of the 28th Infantry Division of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. VanGiesen was killed July 18 while serving with the Guard in Afghanistan.
