Florance L. Vasbinder

Florance L. Vasbinder, age 73, died Sunday, Oct. 17, 2010, at Elk Regional Medical Center in St. Marys.
She was born on May 13, 1937 in Kane daughter to William and Esther Wiser Willard. She resided at 530 First Ave. in Johnsonburg for the past four years, formerly of Kane and Phoenix, Ariz. for 24 years.
She married Paul DeLos Vasbinder on July 19, 1961 in Cumberland, Md., he died Aug. 3, 1991.
She attended Kane schools and was in the Salvation Army located in Ridgway.
She is survived by three daughters, Florence, Mrs. Robert Fitzgerald with whom she resided, Bonnie Sue Vasbinder of Kane, and Verna Rose Vasbinder of San Diego, Calif.; one son, Charles Vasbinder of Johnsonburg; and six grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her parents; husband; a son, Paul Vasbinder; a daughter, Ester Vasbinder; a granddaughter, Rebekah Connell; a brother, William Willard; and one half sister.
A Memorial Service for Florance L. Vasbinder will be conducted at Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home on Friday, Oct. 22 at 1 p.m. Officiating will be Capt. Scott Harvey of The Salvation Army of Ridgway. Interment will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Johnsonburg, and will be private.
Friends will be received at the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home, 401 Chestnut St. in Johnsonburgh on Friday from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m.
