Floyd William Danielson

Floyd William Danielson, 84, formerly of Kane, passed away Jan. 26, 2011, at the Manor at Penn Village, a skilled nursing facility in Selinsgrove.
Born April 7, 1926, in Kane, he was a son of Otto and Genevieve Danielson. On June 15, 1948, he married Irene Anderson who preceded him in death.
Upon his graduation from Kane High School, Floyd entered the Army Air Corps and served during World War II. After his service commitment, he worked for the National Fuel Gas Company for 40 years, retiring in 1987.
Surviving are two children, Rebecca Shumoski of Philadelphia and Thomas Danielson of Selinsgrove; five grandchildren, Zachary Shumoski, Benjamin Shumoski, Leah Shumoski Kim, Nathan Danielson and Michael Danielson; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Richard Danielson.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by three siblings, Ruth Wise and Walter and Carl Danielson.
Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family.
