Frances E. Hammer

Frances E. Hammer, 94, formerly of Greeves Street, Kane, died Thursday afternoon, March 15, 2012 at The Lutheran Home at Kane.
   Born April 4, 1917 in McKinley Station, she was the daughter of Earl and Nina M. Quinn Conners.  She had been married to J. Clair Caldwell, and, after his death, to Donald R. Hammer, who also preceded her in death.
   Frances had been self employed as a beautician, and was a member of the Kane Country Club and the Elks Ladies Auxiliary in Kane.
   Surviving are several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death, besides her husbands and parents, by siblings Vernon Conners and Dawn Pierotti.
   Interment will take place privately on Monday at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Kane.
