Frances E. McGinnis

Frances E. McGinnis, age 90, of New Kensington, died Tuesday, June 28, 2011 in Harmar Care Village, Harmarville.
She was born on March 4, 1921 in Kane to the late George A. and Anna E. Martinson Cannon and had lived in the New Kensington area since 1943.
She had been employed as a food preparer for P and M Pizza in Arnold, and was a food sampler for various stores in the New Kensington area. While in Kane, she worked in the dentist office of Dr. Gardner.
Frances was a member of the Arnold United Methodist Church and enjoyed attending bingo.
She is survived by her sister: Georgianna Draty of Kane; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Richard “Dick” McGinnis.
Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Rusiewicz of Arnold Funeral Home, 1400 Fifth Avenue, Arnold PA 15068 (724-335-2841) where funeral services will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Karen Prescott. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Lower Burrell. www.RusiewiczFH.com.
