Frederick R. Anderson

Frederick R. Anderson, 59, of 192 Saw Pit Hill Rd., Woodbury, Conn., passed away Thursday, Sept. 22, 2011 at Waterbury Hospital.
Born Oct. 26, 1951, in Kane, he was the son of Frederick V. and Lenore “Connie” Hadley Anderson. 
On Feb. 5, 1977, in Jamestown, N.Y., he married Karen Fulton who survives.
Mr. Anderson was a manager of information systems for the Barden Corporation in Danbury, Conn. He was a member of the Philadelphia Church of God, the Kane V.F.W. and the IOV Lodge of the Vikings. He also enjoyed hunting and scuba diving.
He had lived in Woodbury since 1997 and prior to that in Lakewood, N.Y. and Plantsville, Conn.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, Karen Anderson of Woodbury are his parents, Fred and Connie Anderson of Kane; three children, Derick (Kristyn) Anderson of Derry, N.H., Alana Anderson  and his future son-in-law, Lenny Manz of Bristol, Conn., Jason (Julie) Helsel of Lakewood, N.Y.;  and a granddaughter, Sarina Anderson  of Derry, N.H.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Mark Anderson.
Friends will be received on Monday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Cummings Funeral Home, Inc. where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 27. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
