George T. "Tim" Timblin

George T. "Tim" Timblin, Jr., 65, of 156 Dewey Ave. in Hazel Hurst, formerly of Marienville for many years, died Saturday evening, Feb. 25, 2012 at the Bradford Manor.
Born Jan. 12, 1947 in Kane, he was the son of George T. and Lucille K. Oliver Timblin.
Mr. Timblin was a machine operator for Highland Resources in Marienville for many years, moving to Hazel Hurst in the past year. He served in both the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
Surviving are two daughters, Lucille Timblin of Hazel Hurst and Georgeann McCool of Smethport; a sister, Linda Dawson of Industry; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by sisters Peggy Timblin, Nancy Gadley and Marilou Brunner, and a brother, Robert Timblin.
Friends may call at the Ronald McDonald II Funeral Home, Inc. in Kane on Thursday from 1-2 p.m., at which time a service will be held there with the rev. David Pflieger, chaplain of The Lutheran Home at Kane, officiating.  Interment will follow in St. Callistus Cemetery, Kane.
