Gerald W. Leonard

Gerald W. Leonard, 83, of 312 Welsh St., died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2010, at Hamot Medical Center in Erie.
Born July 9, 1927, in Wolf Run, he was a son of Audrey and Clara Dougherty Leonard. 
Mr. Leonard had been employed by Penn DOT from which he retired after 30 years.
Surviving are a son, Gary Leonard of Kane; a daughter, Rhonda Marcinko of Girard; and two grandsons.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, are a brother, Ralph Leonard and a sister, June Leonard.
Friends will be received  from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.on Saturday at the gathering space of St. Callistus Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. with The Rev. Philip Pinczewski, pastor, as Celebrant. Burial will be at St. Callistus Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 823 Filmore Ave., Erie, Pa. 16505. The Cummings Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences can be expressed at www.cummingsfh.com.
