Girl Scouts tree planting

May 22, 2012

In honor of Girl Scouts turning 100 years old this past March, all troops in Pennsylvania were given the opportunity to plant trees in their area. Kane Girl Scout Troop 23093 planted 11 pine trees at the middle school football field.  C.W. Hardware provided the materials needed to plant and protect the trees. Top row, from left to right, are Hannah Nelson, Chelsea Hunt, Kalen Johnson, Anna Robbins, Olivia Douglas and Abby Langille. Bottom row, from left to right, are Victoria Hallberg, Raeann Asel, Rylee Johnson and Emily Bucheit.
