Halloween times change in the area

Photo by Ted Lutz – All types of Halloween creatures decorate this house at 6 Fuller St., Mt. Jewett. Due to weather conditions, the Halloween activities in Mt. Jewett will be moved to Saturday. The parade is at 5 p.m. with "trick of treat" hours from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m..

MT. JEWETT – Due to high winds and heavy rain linked with "Hurricane Sandy," the Halloween schedule has been changed in Mt. Jewett and Hamlin Township.
The Halloween parade in Mt. Jewett now will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday. 
The Mt. Jewett Rotary Club sponsors the parade on Main Street from the Hamlin Bank parking lot to the driveway for the fire hall.
The Rotary Club will hold its costume-judging party in the fire hall immediately after the parade.
"Trick or Treat" hours in Mt. Jewett will be 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
Hamlin Township has rescheduled "Trick or Treat" hours to Friday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Unless activities are canceled due to the storm, "Trick or Treat" will be held as scheduled Wednesday-- Halloween-- in Kane, Wetmore Township, Highland Township and Hamilton Township.
