Hanging Christmas wreaths

November 14, 2011

Joe Cheauka and Karl Mohney of the Kane Lions Club are shown hanging “Christmas Wreaths” early Sunday morning near the Fuel On Station under clear blue skies. The club members met on Fraley Street at 8 a.m. to set 22 lighted wreaths on the street lights on main street and wrap five utility poles with garlands on Field Street. The Lions have been handling the Christmas lighting as a service to the people of the Kane area for many years.
