Harriet Elizabeth Spilka

Harriet Elizabeth Spilka, 86, passed away on March 3, 2012 at Warren Manor in the presence of her family.
She was born Jan. 13, 1926 in Edinboro to the late Grace and Harry Moffat. She was a graduate of Edinboro High School. Harriet retired from Groboski Industries in Sheffield.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Clarence Moffat, and a sister, Helen Hanks.
She is survived by a daughter, Susan Spilka Larson and husband Wayne, Warren; a granddaughter, Amanda Larson, Charlotte, N.C.; step-grandson Jamie Larson, Warren; and step-great-grandson Hunter Larson, Edinboro.
Harriet loved spending time with her family. She was quick to put a smile onto someone's face. Harriet was loved and will be missed by many.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at the Borden-Lloyd Funeral Home. Friends will be received from 2 p.m. until the 3 p.m. service on Tuesday.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Disabled American Veterans Auxillary Chapter 75 c/o Carolyn Brandt, 97 Walleye Ln., Russell, PA 16345.
