Ted Lutz Madeline McDermott, 5, of Kane walks Wednesday morning to the Kane Elementary School for her first day of kindergarten. She is accompanied by her mother, Joleen Grolemund of Kane. Classes resumed Wednesday for all students in the Kane Area School District.
