Highland board favors hearing on 'injection well'

Seneca is seeking a permit from the federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to convert a depleted gas well into an "injection well" for the disposal of drilling fluids.

JAMES CITY – The Highland Water and Sewer Authority has gone on record in favor of a public hearing on a proposed "injection well" for the disposal of gas well production fluids.
Seneca Resources is seeking a permit from the federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to convert an existing depleted gas well into an "injection well."
