J. Marillyn Lester

J. Marillyn Lester, 82, of Clearfield, died on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2010 at Somerset Hospital, Somerset.
She was born on Oct. 5, 1928 in Mt. Jewett, a daughter of the late Glenn and Helen (Carlson) Wolfe.
She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church, Curwensville.
She is survived by three children, Gay Cooper and husband Michael of Smethport, Jon Lester and wife Wanda of Salisbury, and Harold Lester and wife Carol of Export; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lael Giles Rockton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, H. Richard Lester on Jan. 10, 1992 and whom she married Oct. 15, 1946 in Kane; and one brother, Darl Wolfe.
Funeral services will be held at the Grace Lutheran Church, Curwensville on Wednesday at 10 a.m. with Pastor Richard Steuernagle officiating. A committal service and interment will follow at 2 p.m. at the Lebanon Lutheran Cemetery, Kanesholm, with Pastor Theodore Benson officiating.
Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 92 South Second Street, Clearfield 16830.
