Joel H. Peterson, 54, of 6 Pete Ln., died Sunday, March 6, 2011, at his residence.
Born July 19, 1956, in Kane, he was a son of the late Herbert and Viola Lundblad Peterson. 
Mr. Peterson was self-employed as a window tinter.
Surviving are his longtime companion, Susan Peterson; two sisters, Gloria (Ronald) Troutman of Honor, Mich. and Susan (Robert) Nase of Boynton Beach, Fla.; one nephew, Christopher (Kathleen) Nase of Orlando, Fla.; three nieces, Michelle (Chris) Shall of Birmington, Ala., Renee (David) Maxfield of Oxford, Ohio, Stephanie (David) Herbison of Dover, Del.; and several great nieces and great nephews.
Friends may attend a memorial service at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Cummings Funeral Home, Inc. in Mt. Jewett, with the Rev. W. Craig Smith, pastor of the United Methodist Church, officiating.
