John C. Gatewood, 68, formerly of Kane, died Sept 29, 2010 at Scottsdale Osborn hospital in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Born Aug. 3, 1942 in Kane, he was the son of Don and Helen Gatewood formerly of Smithfield Avenue, Kane.
He was a 1960 graduate of Kane Area High School and has made his home at 1114 W. 2nd Street, Mesa, Ariz. 85201.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Gatewood; one daughter, Susan Boquet of Phoenix, Ariz.; and one son, Douglas Gatewood of Prescott Valley, Ariz.; two sisters, Virginia Confer of Burnherds Bay, N.Y. and Nancy Poikonen of Cape Cod, Mass; and one brother, Dave Gatewood of Brockway; and one grandson, Tyler Gatewood.Â
Friends and Family are gathering at the home of John C. Gatewood on Saturday, Oct. 9 to pay their respects.
