Joyce M. Wallin

Joyce M. Wallin, 85, formerly of Sheffield and Ludlow, died Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012, at Warren Manor.
Born June 10, 1926, in Wildcat, she was a daughter of Olgar and Elna Olson Wallin.
Ms. Wallin was a member of Moriah Lutheran Church in Ludlow and also belonged to the American Legion Auxiliary and the Wildcat Park Auxiliary.
She was the owner/operator of Joyce’s Beauty Shop and at different times had worked at New Process in Warren and Grabowski’s in Sheffield.
Surviving are cousins, Gail (Delores) Olson, John (Nancy) Gilfert, Lewis (Gerrie) Jones, Michael (Lynn) Swanson, Winnie (Terry) Gardner, Bruce Olson and Claire Ann Depto. Many second cousins and third cousins also survive.
She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by an infant brother, Bruce Wallin and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends may attend a memorial service at 1 p.m. next Friday, Feb. 24, 2012, at the Cummings Funeral Home, Inc. in Kane, with the Rev. Donald Costlow, pastor of Moriah Lutheran Church, officiating.
Memorial donations may be made to Moriah Lutheran Church in Ludlow or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
