Julia E. “Judy” Bressler

Julia E. “Judy” Bressler, 93, formerly of Johnsonburg, passed away Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, at the Lutheran Home at Kane where she had been a resident since 1996.
Born March 3, 1919, in Renova, she was a daughter of the late LeRoy F. and Emma Stewart Bressler.
Miss Bressler lived most of her life in Johnsonburg and was a member of the Methodist Church there and had worked for the Stackpole Corporation until her retirement in 1970. She was also a member of the D.A.R.
Surviving are her sister, Marjorie M. Zampogna of Kane; nieces and nephews; and many great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews.
She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by a brother, Edward L. Bressler; and two sisters, Maxine C. Buckland and Helen M. Holmes.
Friends will be received today (Monday) from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the Cummings Funeral Home, Inc. in Kane, where a funeral service will follow with the Rev. David Pflieger, Chaplain of the Lutheran Home at Kane, officiating. Burial will be in North Bend Cemetery in North Bend.
