The final home meet of the year would prove to be a good one for the Kane cross country teams as they defeated ECC, DCC and Brockway at home on Tuesday.
While the varsity boys would be the only team to be able to score against the three opponents, the middle school teams would start the day off with personal bests all across the board. Colton Barr began the race in the lead and ended up second overall with a time of 11:04. The next group of finishers would round out Kane’s middle school efforts, led by Shyanne Blankenship. Blankenship clocked in at 12:27 and was followed closely by Jordan Race in 12:31. Olivia Blackmore and Courtney Peters would be the final two finishers for Kane coming in at 12:49 and 12:57, respectively.
