Kane at ECC softball game suspended

Wednesday’s Kane at Elk County Catholic softball game was suspended in the top half of the fourth inning due to unplayable field conditions.
The game was suspended in the top half of the fourth inning with the Lady Wolves leading by a 1-0 score. They had the bases loaded at the time.
Abbey Bauer started on the mound for Elk, giving up three hits, walking two and striking out three. Kyla Hoag started on the mound for Kane, giving up one hit, walking one and striking out six.
Kristy Hanes had Elk’s lone hit, a double. Kaila Jamerson had a double while Hoag and Haylee Walters singled for Kane.
The Lady Wolves left two runners stranded in the top half of the first inning as Hoag singled and Jamerson doubled. In the home half of the inning, Hanes doubled but courtesy runner Michaela Cashmer was left stranded.
