Ted Lutz The Kane Volunteer Fire Department held its annual election Tuesday at the fire hall on Poplar Street. Among those elected are, left to right: Tim Holt, fire chief; Tim Lehman, first assistant fire chief; Leo "Jerry" Geibel, second assistant fire chief; and Dave Silvis, third assistant fire chief. Outgoing Fire Chief Norm Schreckengost did not seek another term. The annual fire department banquet is Saturday, Feb. 18 at the fire hall.
