Kane hospital is busy this month with mammograms

Because October is national “Breast Cancer Awareness Month,” this is a busy time of the year for mammograms at Kane Community Hospital (KCH).
“When it comes to screening for breast cancer, mammograms are the ‘gold standard,’” Julie Laughner said. “Breast cancer is a treatable disease if detected early by a mammogram.”
