Kane Lady Wolves down Brockway Lady Rovers

February 8, 2012

The Kane Lady Wolves found the going tough in the first quarter as a scrappy Brockway team was able to create turnovers and keep Kane from scoring easy buckets but the home team eventually earned a 52-37 win.
Kane held a slim 2-point lead after the first quarter. The second quarter would prove to be much better as Kane was able to break the pressure defense and have a big 18-point quarter and take a 12-point lead into halftime.
Dawn Saquin and Kaila Jamerson had good first halves as Saquin would finish with nine and Jamerson seven. The second half was controlled by Nerissa Rich as she came up with some big rebounds and knocked down 10 big second half points to lift Kane to a hard fought victory over Brockway, 52-37.
