Kane natives get fourth place at DAV Cabela's qualifier

(formerly of Kane) took fourth place on Sunday in the DAV Cabela’s qualifier held this past weekend on Kinzua. Forty boats took to the water in the two-day event on May 19 and 20. The team brought a 5-fish limit to the scales, weighing 9.84 lbs. Saturday the team took big fish honors with a 3.14 lb. walleye. The team weighed a limit of five fish both days for a combined weight of 18.10 lbs., giving them fourth place overall in the standings.
