Kane's relay teams win D-9 championship

The girls' time of 4:10.03 broke the 32-year-old school record set back in 1980. The boys' big race helped seal the team championship as they edged Port Allegany 55-50. The boys' team came in seeded No. 5 in the event but showed their heart and strength as they won the race in a time of 3:33.28. Both teams now look forward to the Pennsylvania State Track & Field Championships.
