K.A.R.E raises money for community

January 17, 2013

The Kane Area Revitalization Enterprise (K.A.R.E.) was able to raise $5,080.00 with a Ford grant facilitated by Zook Motors of Kane.  K.A.R.E., a part of the Kane Area Development Center, held the Drive One for your Community event at their 54 Fraley St. office on Saturday, Oct. 27 in conjunction with various community activities. Test drivers were able to choose from several new Ford vehicles provided by Zook Motors. Each registered test drive earned K.A.R.E. $20 towards community projects. K.A.R.E. is very appreciative of Zook Motors’ generosity and staff, who accompanied each test drive throughout the day. Pictured here from left to right is Jill Thompson, Secretary of K.A.R.E.; John Zook, Sue Zook Wilson; Tim Robinson, President of K.A.R.E.; Mike Merry, V.P. of K.A.R.E.; and Erin Vassallo, Executive Director of Kane Area Development Center. Missing from the photo is Joe Tigani of K.A.R.E.
