Kathleen “Kathy” Feikls

Kathleen “Kathy” Feikls, 50, of 28 East Main St., Ludlow, passed away Monday, Dec. 13, 2010, at Kane Community Hospital.
Born June 12, 1960, in Centralia, Ill., she was a daughter of Hugh A. and Dolores Murphy Rich Jr. On Nov. 28, 1998, at St. Callistus Church, she married Henry “Hank” Feikls Jr. who survives.
Kathy was a loving, caring, compassionate and kind person who loved her family and friends and organized all the family parties, get togethers and travel plans.
She was a member of St. Callistus Church and worked as the office manager and controller at Richgas Inc. She had previously been employed as an executive secretary for Houston Electronics and LTI Industries.
Surviving, in addition to her husband are two children, Emily and Mason Feikls, both at home; her father, Hugh A. Rich Jr. and his wife June of Ludlow; four brothers, Thomas (Laura) Rich, Rian (Mollie) Rich,  Hugh (Betsy) Rich and Mike (Brenda) Rich, all of Kane; three sisters, Julianne (Steven) Chittester of Kane, Annemarie (Ron) Smith of Bradford and Mary Ellen (Matthew) Sicher of Kane; 24 nieces and nephews; and 13 grandnieces and grandnephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Dolores Murphy Rich, and a brother, Robert C. Rich, Sr.
Friends and family may attend a Memorial Mass which will be held at 12 p.m. Friday at St. Callistus Church with The Rev. Philip Pinczewski, pastor, as Celebrant. Prior to the Mass, private burial will be held at St. Callistus Cemetery.
