Kathryn Mary Hasney

Kathryn Mary Hasney, 79, of Orlando, Fla., formerly of Lantz Corners, died Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011, following an extended illness.
Born July 31, 1932, in Halsey, she was the daughter of Joseph and Catherine Rindosh Morgan. On July 18, 1959, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Mount Jewett, she married Francis "Fetch" Hasney, who preceded her in death on January 9, 2002. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Joseph Morgan, and a sister, Anne Morgan.
Mrs. Hasney was an active member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Mount Jewett, the Mount Jewett Legion Auxiliary, the Mount Jewett Fireman's Auxiliary, the Red Hat Society, and volunteered with many other town wide events.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary Beth Sharer (James) of Mount Jewett and Susan Gustafson (Randall) of Orlando, Fla.; four grandchildren, Ashley Gustafson of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Dane Gustafson of Orlando, Fla. and Maryssa and Brendan Sharer, both of Mount Jewett; three brothers, John Morgan (Emma) of Sayre, James Morgan (June) of Lantz Corners, and Edward Morgan (Jennifer) of Campbelltown; a sister-in-law, Mary Morgan of James City; and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Mount Jewett on Saturday, Aug. 20, 2011 at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Nebo Cemetery, Mount Jewett.
