The Kane Lady Wolves soccer team honored five seniors prior to Monday's game. The home team would pull out a big 2-1 win over Clarion.
"We couldn't have been paired up against a better team for our Senior Recognition game," said Kane girls varsity soccer coach Allie Saquin. "The girls came out ready to play and did a great job as a team."
In the first half the Lady Wolves were able to hold clarion to only three shots on goal. The defense worked well on challenging the ball and keeping their offense out.
"Shyanne Todd won a lot of balls in the middle and helped out offensively. Cara Lorenzo played a great game as right defender," Saquin said. "She went in for tackles and has really stepped up her play this year."
