Linda J. Paar

Linda J. Paar, 63, of 80 E. Main St., Mt. Jewett, passed away Monday morning, Feb. 27, 2012, at Kane Community Hospital.
Born Nov. 12, 1948, in Kane, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence C. and Elaine Balon Greenawalt. On May 17, 1969, in Mt. Jewett, she married Kordon J. Paar who survives.
Mrs. Paar was employed as a secretary for Paar Transportation Services in Mt. Jewett. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Also, she was an avid bingo player and loved her two cats and dog.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a son, Christopher Paar and his fiancée Sheri Easton; a brother, Robert (Carol) Mix; and a sister, Carol (Sherman) Keller, all of Mt. Jewett. Seven nieces and nephews also survive.
Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Cummings Funeral Home, Inc. where a funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. W. Craig Smith, pastor of the United Methodist Church, officiating.
