Lindy Lydic

Lindy C. Lydic, 33, of 15 Easton St. Kane, died March 31, 2011 due to injuries received in an automobile accident.
She was born Jan. 26, 1978 in Rochester, NY to John and Beth (Pearce) Cooper, who both survive.
Lindy did her Masters Degree work online and her undergraduate work at Niagara University. She was employed as a Business Education teacher at the Sheffield Area Middle School. Lindy was an active member in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
In addition to her parents she is survived by one daughter, Jasmine Marie of Kane; a brother, Robert Cooper of Palatka, Fla.; her fiancé, Lawrence August Jr. of Punxsutawney; her fiancé's sons, Justin and Kyle August, both of Punxsutawney; two aunts, Laurie (Bruce) Yanz of Webster, N.Y. and Carol Pearce of Rochester, N.Y.; her uncle, Todd (Tai-Yon) Cooper of Mojave Valley, Ariz.; her maternal grandmother, Ava Pearce of Webster, N.Y.; and many friends, fellow teachers and students.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents and her maternal grandfather.
Friends will be received at the Cummings Funeral Home in Kane on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday at 10 a.m. with Ray Hanson, Bishop of the Brookville Mormon Church and Bill Wetzel, branch President of the Ridgway Mormon Church co-officiating.
Burial will take place in the West Webster Cemetery in Webster, NY.
In Lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, 2600 Network Blvd, Suite 300, Frisco, TX 75034.
