Marching band at "Sounds of Autumn"

This past weekend the Kane marching dand competed at the "Sounds of Autumn" Band Competition at St. Marys High School. The band finished first in Music, first in Visual and first Overall against both Brockway and Juniata Valley in Group 1, A Class. In addition to the bands accomplishments, Senior, drum major and tenor saxophone player, Kyle McAlee received the TOB Chapter XI Showmanship Award. This is the second time a member from the Kane Marching Band has won this award in as many years. The band will take the field in competition again this weekend in Warren at War Memorial Field.  The show starts at 5:30 p.m. and Kane competes at 6 p.m.
