Mary Ann Sobota, 73, of Lindholm Rd., died Monday, March 21, 2011, at Sena Kean Manor.
Born Dec. 1, 1937, in Kane, she was a daughter of Andrew and Hazel Lundgren Sobota.
Ms. Sobota had worked for Stackpole for many years and had also worked at the Hub in Smethport. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Mt. Jewett.
Surviving are a brother, Daniel Sobota, and a sister, Darlene Jashurek, both of Johnsonburg; and two nieces and a nephew.
She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her longtime companion, John Belinda.
Friends will be received at the Cummings Funeral Home, Inc. in Mt. Jewett, on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with The Rev. Vincent Cieslewicz, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Bridgeview Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
