Michela E. Carlson, 85, of 6 East Sycamore Place, Lewisburg, formerly of Kane, passed away Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012, at Riverwoods Nursing Home in Lewisburg.
Born April 13, 1927, in Kane, she was a daughter of the late Gerald and Rose Montour Bonadio. On Sept. 14, 1948, in Kane, she married Carl "Bob" Carlson who survives.
Mrs. Carlson, a 1944 graduate of Kane High School, was employed as a dental assistant until retirement in 1974.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, Bob, are a daughter, Sandra Jean Carlson of Montoursville; a son, Thomas R. Carlson of Logan, Ohio; six grandchildren, Andrew Wager, Jennifer Bradstreet, Michael Carlson, Scott Carlson, Steven Carlson and Brian Carlson; three great-grandchildren, Alix Bradstreet, Jessica Bradstreet and Raleigh Plowey; and a brother, Robert J. Bonadio of Warren.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 7 at the Cummings Funeral Home, Inc. in Kane where funeral services with The Rev. William Waterman, pastor of Tabor Evangelical Lutheran Church, will follow at noon.
Burial will be at Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
