Mildred “Isabelle” Gustafson

Mildred “Isabelle” Gustafson, 92, formerly of Poplar Street, died Friday, Oct. 28, 2011, at Sena Kean Manor.
Born Sept. 8, 1919, in Kushequa, she was a daughter of Gustav A. and Mary Transue Gustafson.
Before her retirement, Ms. Gustafson had worked as an operator for Western Union. She was a member of St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church.
Surviving are a brother, Gerald Gustafson of Bradford, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Gustafson; and two sisters, Evelyn Chatley and Dorothy Moore.
Friends will be received on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Cummings Funeral Home, Inc. in Mt. Jewett.  Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church with the Rev. Darrel Justh officiating. Burial will be at McKean Memorial Park.
