Mt. Jewett man charged with sexual assault

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a Mt. Jewett man who is charged with seven felony counts linked with an alleged sexual assault involving a girl who was 13 years old at the time.
Roger Merle Crate II, 21, of 24 Chestnut St., Mt. Jewett, is accused of having sexual contact with the girl between Nov. 28, 2009 and March 30 of this year.
