Mt. Jewett Rotary hosts Big Brothers/Big Sisters

August 19, 2012

On a recent Wednesday evening the Mt. Jewett Rotary Club hosted the Annual McKean County Big Brothers Big Sisters summer picnic. The picnic was held at the Mt. Jewett Community Park. The order of business for the evening was great food, games and most importantly lots of fun. For over a century, Big Brothers Big Sisters has been helping change kids perspectives and giving them the opportunity to reach their potential. If you or your organization are interested in learning how you can help Big Brothers Big Sisters or if you are interested in becoming a Big please call McKean County Big Brothers Big Sisters Caseworker Annie Wolfe at the Guidance Center at 887-9344. Mount Jewett Rotary Club meets every Wednesday at 6:15 p.m. at the Barrel House Restaurant. Rotary’s main objective is service – in the community, in the workplace, and around the globe.
