Myron Francis Jolly

Myron Francis Jolly, 88, formerly of 101 Hemlock Ave., died Sunday morning, Sept. 11, 2011, at the Lutheran Home at Kane.
Born June 19, 1923, in DeYoung, he was a son of the late M. Dewitt and Edith Robinson Jolly. On Sept. 21, 1946, at St. Callistus rectory, he married Dorothy Jeanne Eliason.
Mr. Jolly loved flying and was in the Army Air Corps, U.S. Air Force and the PA National Guard Reserve, serving 24 years total. He retired as Captain in 1983.  He had retired from Stackpole Carbon Company (Ceramagnet Div.) in 1982.
He was a graduate of Kane High School, class of 1940, and a member of St. Callistus Catholic Church.
Surviving are two sons, James (Sheila) Jolly of Fairborn, Ohio and Richard (Chris) Jolly of Kane; two daughters, Barbara (Bill) Bretherick of Lake Worth, Fla. and Nancy (Greg) Oyler of Kane; 1 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, June Kilmer of Lakeside, Ariz.; a daughter-in-law, Christine Jolly of Berea, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanne; his son, Michael Jolly; and a granddaughter, Laura Jolly
Funeral services, conducted by the Rev. David Pflieger, will be private. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Lutheran Home at Kane, 100 High Point Drive, or to a charity of choice.
