None injured as fire destroys cab on tanker truck

The fire totally destroyed the tractor and its contents. Police estimated damage at $100,000. No injuries were reported. The fire did not spread to the tanker.

NANSEN – No one was injured Friday morning when a fire destroyed the cab of a tanker truck on Route 66 near Nansen in Highland Township.
The tanker was loaded with 4,500 gallons of liquid wax, according to Bill Edinger, chief of the Highland Township Volunteer Fire Department.
