Pauline F. Coldren

Pauline F. Coldren, 96, E. Mill St., passed away Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, in the Bradford Nursing Pavilion.
Born Dec. 18, 1915, in Petrolia, N.Y., she was a daughter of Carroll M. and Lulu M. Wentworth Richardson. On Jan. 21, 1936, in Limestone, N.Y., she married Carl R. Coldren, who died July 9, 2001. They were married 65 years.
She was a longtime resident of the area and a graduate of the Bradford, High School, Class of “35â€.
She was a member of the former Evangelical United Brethren Church of Coryville, Ladies Home Extension, Penn State University, and a former 4H leader.
Surviving are a son, Thomas C. (Ethel) Coldren of Smethport; two daughters, Anita P. (Richard) Grandinette of Bradford, Jane A. (David) Peterson of Kane; seven grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl; a son, Peter Z. Coldren; and two sisters, Lois Rink and Sarah Jane Bricko.
Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012, in the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany, where funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday with Rev. Lynn Ostrander, officiating. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park, Lafayette.
