Picnic-cookout at library

September 21, 2012

On a beautiful September evening, the volunteers of Friends' Memorial Public Library were celebrated Sept. 17 at a picnic-cookout held inside and outside the library in Kane. Organized by library trustee Ray Brzezinski, there were drawings for prizes and popular music of the 50s from "Sum-Sum-Summertime" to "See You in September" was played and sung by the Kane Guitar Choir with a bit of  help from the audience.
