The refurbished bridge at the Kinzua Bridge State Park near Mt. Jewett now is open to the public. A grand-opening ceremony at the bridge will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday. The Kinzua Bridge Fall Festival will be held at park Saturday and Sunday. A tornado in 2003 toppled the midsection of the historic bridge. The refurbished bridge is built on the remaining park-side towers and is called the "Sky Walk." Several state officials are expected to participate in the grand-opening Thursday.
