Lenny Anderson, commander of the Smethport Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 2497, speaks Tuesday at a ceremony to remember victims of the 9/11 terrorist attack. The VFW and American Legion in Smethport conducted the ceremony on the plaza in front of the McKean County Courthouse. The ceremony included a 21-gun salute and the playing of taps.
