A retirement dinner was held Wednesday in Bartlett Hall at the First United Methodist Church in Kane to honor Dr. Ken Langille, who plans to retire Dec. 2. He has served as a physician in Kane for 16 years. Taking part in the program are, left to right: the Rev. William LaVelle, pastor at the First United Methodist Church; Dr. Langille and his wife, Jean; Gary Rhodes, chief operating officer (CEO) at Kane Community Hospital; and Matthew Langille, son of the honoree. More than 125 attended the dinner. Dr. Langille and his wife have been active members of the First United Methodist Church along Greeves Street. The program included performances by the church's Celebration Bells and the Sanctuary Choir.
