Roger L. Ewing

Roger L. Ewing, 55, of 21-41 Main St., Mt. Jewett, died Tuesday, May 31, 2011, at Kane Community Hospital of injuries sustained in a fall.
Born Nov. 19, 1955, in Kane, he was a son of the late Ronald and Jean Magnuson Ewing.
Mr. Ewing was a self-employed carpenter.
Surviving are two children, Nicole Ewing of Kane and Austin Ewing in Ireland; seven brothers and sisters, Paul (Diana) Ewing and Cheri Peterson, both of Mt. Jewett, Sandi (Dennis) Duffee of Bemus Point, N.Y., Norm (Karen) Ewing of Warren, Rich Ewing of Mt. Jewett, Scott Ewing and Gary of Olean, N.Y., Doug (Janet) Ewing of Palmyra; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family may attend a memorial service at the Mt. Jewett United Methodist Church on Saturday, June 18, 2011, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. W. Craig Smith, pastor, officiating. 
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
