Ronald Lee “Ron” Yasurek

Ronald Lee “Ron” Yasurek, Sr., 61, of Milton, Fla., died Saturday, July 30, 2011, at his home.
Born March 16, 1950, in Kane, he was a son of John and Emma Knapp Yasurek.
After high school, he joined the U.S. Navy and moved to Florida where he met and married his wife, Sharon.
Ron was active in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church where he was a member of the Milton Knights of Columbus and a 4th Degree member of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Assembly.
Surviving, in addition to his wife Sharon Peakman Yasurek of Milton, Fla., and his mother Emma Yasurek of Kane, are his children, Ronald Yasurek Jr., Jason (Crystal) Yasurek, Emily (Marc) Donalson, Joseph (Mary) Yasurek, Pamela Phillips and Katrina Yasurek; eight grandchildren; his mother-in-law Doris Peakman; 10 siblings, Elaine Bliss, Patricia Hillman, Lisa Springer, Joan Woods, Richard Yasurek and Thomas Yasurek, all of Kane, Katherine Jerman of Sheffield, Daniel Yasurek of Wilcox, John Yasurek Jr. of Ludlow  and Steven Yasurek of DeYoung; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, John J. Yasurek and his father-in-law, Kenneth Peakman, Sr.
Friends will be received at the Cummings Funeral Home, Inc. on Monday from 10-11 a.m. at which time a rosary service will be held. Committal services will follow at St. Callistus Cemetery.
